Amy works with children and families to diagnose and treat those with feeding and swallowing problems. Her education in speech language pathology allows her to assess oral motor skills that may cause difficulty swallowing. Through proper assessment and treatment, Amy aims to improve a child’s quality of life by making eating and drinking a positive experience. She has worked with children with diagnoses such as pediatric dysphagia, pediatric feeding disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, and oro-myofunctional disorder.

She has presented on feeding and swallowing at both CSHA and ASHA discussing the assessment and treatment process as well generalization of skills into the home and school environments.
